This tour features two family owned and operated facilities in north central Iowa. Sukup manufactures grain storage, drying and handling equipment. We’ll tour their plant, which is operating at 100 percent capacity, where we’ll see the entire process, from where the steel is brought in its raw form to when it’s made into equipment to fill customer orders. Latham Seed is a corn and soybean seed company. Those attending the tour will visit the seed plant and research plots.

This event is free of charge, but is limited to the first 30 RSVPs. To RSVP, or for more information about the event, please call Amanda Wall or Val Krumm at the Iowa Soybean Association at 800-383-1423.

This is a Travel to Treasure event, so bring your “Travel to treasure: Iowa’s Soy Tours” passport. If you do not have a passport, you can pick one up at the event.
The Iowa Soybean Association develops policies and programs that help farmers expand profit opportunities while promoting environmentally sensitive production using the soybean checkoff and other resources. The Association is governed by an elected volunteer board of 21 farmers.
