Alex Buseman

Conservation Services Manager


Alex is a Conservation Services Manager and specializes in edge-of-field practices such as woodchip bioreactors and saturated buffers. He also helps with oxbow and habitat restoration.

After growing up in Belmond, he went to Iowa State University (ISU) for Environmental Science. While completing his undergraduate degree, he served as a researcher for the Agricultural Water Management lab. Immediately after graduating, Alex continued his education and worked at the Iowa State University Water Quality Research Lab to earn his Master of Environmental Science.

Since completing his masters, Alex has been eager to start making an impact on nutrient export and helping Iowa farmers. In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with friends and walking his dog, Bella.
