Conservation Services Manager

Alex specializes in edge-of-field conservation practices, including woodchip bioreactors, saturated buffers, and restored oxbows. Since 2021, he has been actively engaged in agricultural water conservation and quality, with experience in the Agricultural Water Management Lab and the Water Quality Research Lab at Iowa State University.

Originally from Belmond, Iowa, Alex studied Environmental Science at Iowa State, focusing on water quality and conservation. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in the field and is dedicated to applying his education and experience to enhance Iowa's water quality.
