Soy Squad is a unique opportunity for collegiate students looking to gain insight into associations, specifically the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA).

The second of three sessions, the Soy Squad will attend ISA’s Farm Forward conference in downtown Des Moines on February 4th. They will hear from several professionals working in the soybean industry beyond ISA. Students will also attend the Legislative Reception that evening where they will interact with Iowa State Legislators and with the ISA Board of Directors. Soy Squad programming will continue the next day on February 5th. The students will enjoy breakfast with the ISA Board Executive Committee. They’ll tour the Iowa State Capitol, hear from IDALS, and learn about ISA’s advocacy efforts in depth. 

Schedule

The Soy Squad will plan to meet on the following dates.

Session 1:      November 1, 2024

Session 2:      February 4-5, 2025

Session 3:      March 28, 2025
