Overview
The North and Middle Rivers flow into the Des Moines River southeast of the Des Moines metro and originate in several counties to the west.
The upcoming open house kick-off meeting for the North and Middle River Watershed Management Authorities’ (NMRWMA) watershed plan is designed to collect community feedback on community resources within the watershed and to learn more about the watershed.
The Iowa Soybean Association is a partner of ISG, a local engineering firm, in developing the watershed plan to prioritize the agricultural voice in the room as the plan is crafted.
