Three reasons to attend ISA district meetings
July 29, 2021 | Bethany Baratta
1. Hear how your checkoff dollars are being invested.
“These meetings allow for the opportunity to hear how checkoff dollars are being invested on your behalf to increase demand, complete on-farm research and educate consumers,” says Bre Wagner, ISA Producer Services coordinator. “We’ll also discuss ISA’s efforts on the non-checkoff front, covering the latest policy issues we’re working on for you and your farm.”
2. Meet fellow farmers.
“After the year we’ve had this past year, we are so excited to be out and about visiting with you all,” says Whitley Frieden, ISA Producers Services coordinator. “This is a great opportunity to hear about the work ISA has been doing the past year and socialize with other farmers in your area.”
3. Share what’s on your mind.
“While you’ll get various updates from ISA directors and staff on things happening in the soy industry, we really want to hear from you,” says Carrie Kelly, ISA Producer Services coordinator. “Come share what’s happening on your farm and what you need from your association."
The ISA Producer Services team has booked unique opportunities for ISA farmer-members to come together for district meetings this year.
