Soybean meal studies for animal agriculture

Soybean farmers are investing in several soy utilization studies for increasing soy rations in livestock diets.

At-Large Director Tim Bardole shares the importance of driving soy demand in animal agriculture. Currently, animal agriculture consumes around 97% of soybean meal. As demand for meat increases around the world, Iowa soybean farmers push for a higher soy content in livestock feed. Recent studies demonstrate how the nutritional and energy value of soybean meal benefits livestock producers.
