Strong outlook for U.S. soy in Colombia

July 17, 2024

Colombia is the sixth largest market for U.S. agriculture and the world’s third largest importer of U.S. soybean meal.

Iowa Soybean Association At-Large Director Aimee Bissell shares insights into her recent trade mission to Colombia. Bissell explains how the quality of U.S. soy is setting it apart from other countries within the market. A recent free trade agreement and decreasing inflation leave Colombia in a position for continued growth.
