Managing the Timing of Cover Crops

We're joined by long time Iowa soybean farmer, Pat Murken, who explains his process for how he managed his cover crops going into a dry summer. Without careful management, remaining soil moisture could have been used up.

Teresa Middleton, ISA Field Services Program Manager, also joins us to discuss cover crop data that's been collected over the past several years. While the data is a great start, additional data collection will continue in future years.
