New biological inoculants and preplant nitrogen applications in soybean production

Soybeans have a large demand for nitrogen and in some environments, soybean yields could be limited by insufficient nitrogen. In this talk, we review studies on methods to increase nitrogen availability and breakthrough yield plateaus with new nitrogen-fixing inoculants and preplant nitrogen applications.
