FEMA to host Ag Recovery Centers for producers affected by recent storms

FEMA officials are organizing Agriculture Recovery Centers in Pottawattamie, Union, and Polk counties throughout the month of June. These centers will operate for a single day, offering guidance on available assistance programs to local farmers and producers impacted by recent storms.
Representatives from various organizations, including USDA (FSA, Rural Development, and NRCS), the Economic Development Administration, Small Business Administration, state aid programs, and FEMA’s Individual Assistance program, will be present.
The Agricultural Recovery Centers are scheduled to be open from 12:00pm – 8:00pm on the following dates and locations:
June 13 - Pottawattamie County
Treynor Community Center, Main Banquet Hall – 11 W Main St, Treynor, IA
June 18 - Union County
Southwestern Community College, Instructional Building – 1501 W. Townline St, Creston, IA
June 28 - Polk County
Des Moines Area Community College, - 2006 Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA
