ISA releases new Insights Report
February 27, 2025 | Kriss Nelson
A new publication from the Iowa Soybean Association’s (ISA) Research Center for Farming Innovation (RCFI) is now available, featuring information on how to interpret farm data, assess crop protection economic return, habitat solutions on unprofitable land, and highlighting some of the best management practices for managing crop input costs.
"We encourage farmers and agronomists alike to read this report and learn more about these spring and early growing season topics,” says ISA Technical Insights Manager, Rosie Roberts.
Farmers can now access science-based findings for their operations via the new Insights Report, available online and in the March Iowa Soybean Review sent to more than 30,000 farmers in Iowa.
“The Insights Report is our first state-wide publication to share actionable results from our on-farm research and conservation projects,” says Roberts. “Each of the projects in the report are directly tied to Iowa farmers’ productivity, profitability and sustainability.”
RCFI's timely report, based on its leaders' expertise in agronomy, research, conservation, and analytics, clarifies early season questions and showcases the value of the team’s on-farm research.
“Our research starts with the farmer’s goal of improving their operation and the land in mind,” says Roberts. “Our projects are scientifically backed, span across the state and are conducted at the farm level. This report provides un-biased agronomic advice, and industry leaders that are eager to work alongside farmers.”
