The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) has an opportunity for those interested in new uses, transportation, policy, communications and more.

The ISA Experience Class will tour Iowa from Aug. 1-3, visiting industries, speaking with soybean leaders, and observing checkoff dollars at work.

Agenda:

August 1: 

• Welcome and introductions 

• ISA overview 

• Lunch panel with ISA, American Soybean Association and United Soybean Board Directors 

• Corteva tour and discussion in Johnston 

• Tour of a media outlet in Des Moines  

• Check into the hotel 

• Dinner and social event 

August 2: 

• Iowa State University Soybean Research Lab in Ames 

• Farm visit, including ISA’s Research Center for Farming Innovation trials 

• Landus Cooperative in Ralston 

• Dinner and social event in Sioux City  

August 3:

• Wilson Trailer Company in Sioux City 

• Tour Port of Blencoe 

• Benson Hill in Creston 

• Wrap up/farewell 

The class is open to any Iowa soybean farmer 21 years of age or over. ISA will cover the costs of meals and lodging.
