Volunteer at the Iowa State Fair with the Iowa Food and Family Project

The Iowa Food & Family Project (Iowa FFP) will return to the South Atrium of the Varied Industries building for the 2024 Iowa State Fair, which will be held August 8 – 18.

This year’s display will include new digital technology components and allow fairgoers to interact with farming and agriculture in a fun and exciting way. This will sure to be a “must-see” Fair exhibit! Visitors will also be invited to test their ag knowledge with a Plinko game, pick up a popular Iowa FFP tote bag and picture themselves on the farm with a fun photo booth.

To make our colorful, creative and collaborative display a highlight at the world’s greatest fair, we’ll need a helping hand from more than 350 exceptional volunteers! Volunteers will help welcome fairgoers to the display, distribute materials and spread the word about Iowa FFP.
